Your donations help so many animals and provides the much-needed support Shoestring City Ranch needs! The recent wildfires in Southern California have caused extra expenses. All of the animals were safely evacuated during the fires. The cost of transporting livestock is costly. Your donations are a tremendous help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our ranches are located in Phelan, CA<\/strong> and Big Bear City, CA<\/strong>. Shoestring City Ranch<\/strong> started in 2010 and is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization we offer a unique opportunity for individuals of all ages to engage in hands-on learning about animal care and farm life. Our facility is 100% volunteer based<\/strong> and we rely 100% on donations<\/strong> to care for the animals. Many types of animals have found sanctuary at our ranch and we have several animals available for adoption<\/a>. If you would like to volunteer at either location, please see our volunteer<\/a> page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Calling all Volunteers! Like to work outdoors? We need your help around the ranch!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Come spend a few hours at our ranch in the high desert with our horses. We need help with fixing fencing, pruning trees, organizing tack and grooming\/exercising animals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please bring water, sunscreen and wear closed toed shoes. Bring a friend too!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Youth Forward, a paid on the job training program<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We are a participating location for Youth Forward, which provides on the job training for ages 16 to 24. Please see flyer for all the details and where to sign up. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
