About Us

Shoestring City Ranch is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that was found in 2010 and is dedicated to providing educational experiences through interactions with our diverse animal residents, including horses, donkeys, sheep, goats, and a llama. Our organization operates entirely through the dedication of volunteers, committed to fostering connections between people, animals, and nature.

At Shoestring City Ranch, we offer a unique opportunity for individuals of all ages to engage in hands-on learning about animal care and farm life. Many of our beloved animals have found sanctuary with us after facing challenges, and our ranch serves as a forever home where they can thrive.

Our facility is 100% volunteer based and we rely 100% on donations to care for the animals. Many of the animals on the ranch are here because their owners were no longer able to care for them. Our goal is to find forever homes for the horses and other animals we have, in hopes they live out their lives, giving joy to those who adopt them. We love what we do and hope you can contribute to the hard but rewarding work we put in for the love of horses, kids and our community!

Below are just a few of our success stories! Shoestring City Ranch has many stories like the ones shown below. Thank you to all of our amazing volunteers!
